This is good, but I hope the government ensures strong data privacy and cybersecurity. Digital is efficient, but we've seen data breaches before. The process must be foolproof to protect citizens' sensitive information.
My parents in our village in Bihar don't have smartphones. How will they do this "self-enumeration"? The digital push is great for cities, but officials must still go door-to-door in rural areas. Can't leave anyone behind.
As someone who works with demographic data, this is a massive leap forward. Digital collection will allow for much faster analysis and better policy planning. Excited to see the final data for 2027!
Done! Took just 10 minutes. It feels good to contribute directly. Hope this accurate data helps in better allocation of resources for schools, hospitals, and infrastructure in our towns.
The PM leading by example is a good gesture. But the real test is awareness. They need to run ads on TV, radio, and use local influencers to explain the process, especially for the elderly. Jai Hind!
