As someone who grew up watching 'Rocky' on cable TV in Mumbai, this trailer gave me goosebumps. Stallone's struggle is universal—every artist knows what it feels like to be rejected but keep going. I just hope they don't make it too polished or Hollywood-ish; the raw grit is what made Rocky special. Also, Anthony Ippolito looks convincing, but can he match Stallone's intensity? Let's wait and see!
Interesting film, but I wish Bollywood also made such biopics about our own unsung heroes instead of always copying Hollywood. We have so many stories of people who struggled against the system—like Milkha Singh or the boys from Dangal's real village. Still, Stallone's story is motivational. Would be great if this releases in India soon, maybe with subtitles for those who don't follow Hollywood much.
Can we talk about how amazing Matt Dillon looks as Frank Stallone Sr.? 😍 The casting seems spot on! And Peter Farrelly directing gives it a unique touch—he's known for comedies but 'Green Book' showed his dramatic chops. I just hope they don't rush through Stallone's tough times; those years of rejection and living in a tiny apartment are what made the script so real. A must-watch for all aspiring writers and actors in India!
Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical. Rocky is such an iconic film that any biopic about its making might feel like a cheap cash-grab if not done carefully. Stallone himself is still alive and active—did he endorse this project? I hope they don't fictionalize too much or make it melodramatic. The trailer looks decent but the proof will be in the screenplay. For now, I'll keep my expectations moderate.
