Scaling up value addition is key. We can't just be exporting raw shrimp and fish. We need world-class processing units here in India that create jobs and keep more profit within the country. Hope the policies support this shift.

Good to see focus on compliance standards. Many times our consignments get rejected abroad due to quality issues. Strict adherence to international norms will build trust and make 'India Marine Products' a reliable global brand. 👏

While the ambition is great, I hope this doesn't lead to overfishing and harm our marine ecology. Sustainable practices must be at the core of any export push. Development should not cost us our environment.

From 7th to becoming the leading exporter? That's a big leap! It will need massive investment in ports, testing labs, and skill development for fishermen. Hope the meeting translates into concrete action on the ground soon.

Interesting to see the marine products discussion alongside a meeting with Lockheed Martin. Shows a broad strategy to boost manufacturing and exports across sectors. India's economic diplomacy seems to be quite active.
