Pete Davidson praises ex Kim Kardashian as "superhuman", applauds her acting success
Washington DC, May 30
Comedian and actor Pete Davidson has showered praise on his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian, describing her as "superhuman" and applauding her ability to navigate public scrutiny while building a successful acting career, according to E! News.
During an appearance on The Pete Davidson Show, Davidson spoke candidly about Kardashian while interviewing comedian Nikki Glaser, who stars alongside the reality TV star in the upcoming film Fifth Wheel.
"She's superhuman," Davidson said, adding, "I learned from her that no matter what's going on, like whatever in the news, you're still you, and you can just still go do."
The former Saturday Night Live star also praised Kardashian's resilience in the face of constant public attention, according to E! News.
In addition to admiring her confidence, Davidson expressed amazement at Kardashian's success as an actress.
"Isn't it crazy Kim's good at acting? I remember one day she was just like, 'I think I'm gonna be an actress,'" he recalled. "And I was like, '..yeah.' And then she's just good at it, and I was like, 'God, get the...out of here.' She's so good at acting," as per the outlet.
Glaser, who worked closely with Kardashian on Fifth Wheel, echoed Davidson's sentiments and praised the SKIMS founder's determination and professionalism.
"She's amazing. She's so smart. She does anything she wants to do," Glaser said. "Especially if people are like, 'You can't do this.' And for her to go into acting with all the public perception of her anyway, she knew everyone was gonna look for her to fail," according to E! News.
The comedian also highlighted Kardashian's ability to shield herself from negative publicity and online criticism.
"Kim is kind of unaware of some of the biggest stuff. Where I would ask her, and she'd be like, 'What's that?' And I'm like, 'The biggest news thing about you,'" Glaser shared. "She protects herself from it. She exceeded my expectations. I already liked her, and she was just better than that."
Davidson agreed, adding another reason he remains impressed by Kardashian.
"She's... funny," he said.
Davidson and Kardashian dated for nine months before ending their relationship in 2022. Despite the breakup, the comedian's latest remarks suggest he continues to hold his former partner in high regard, according to E! News.
Kardashian is set to star in Fifth Wheel, directed by Eva Longoria and also featuring Fortune Feimster and Brenda Song.
Davidson, meanwhile, recently welcomed daughter Scottie with partner Elsie Hewitt, according to E! News.

I mean, let's be real - Kim Kardashian as an actress? The bar for acting is pretty low these days. But I respect the hustle. She's built an empire from a leaked tape and kept the public talking for two decades. That takes serious resilience, even if I'm not a fan of the celebrity culture she represents.
As an Indian, I find it fascinating how Hollywood handles celebrity relationships. Here, even successful actors face intense family scrutiny about their relationships. Imagine if Kim K dated an Indian guy - our tabloids would lose their minds! But good for Pete for being mature about it all.
"She's superhuman" - okay, let's calm down. She's a billionaire with a PR team. Of course she seems superhuman! But Davidson's comments feel genuine - he sounds like he genuinely admires her as a person. Nice to see exes being friends. Gives me hope for humanity lol.
The most interesting part for me is how Kim allegedly shields herself from negative news. In India, baba log (celebrities) are always on Twitter fighting with critics. Her ability to just ignore the noise is genuinely something we can learn from - be it in business or personal life. 👍
I appreciate the positivity here but can we talk about how Pete Davidson went from Kim K to having a baby with someone else in what feels like five minutes? Talk about moving on fast! 😅 Bollywood actors take years to get over breakups and make whole films about it. Hollywood operates on another level.
