Feel so bad for the foreign tourist who came for a puja and is now stuck. 🙏 Hope they get home safely soon. Our airports should provide better assistance and clear information desks for such stranded passengers.

This is a global issue, not just Chennai's problem. When tensions flare up in the Gulf, it disrupts the entire world's air traffic. Dubai is a major hub. Airlines are being cautious, which is understandable for passenger safety. Better safe than sorry!

Working in travel, I see this firsthand. The real issue is the lack of immediate, affordable re-routing options. The alternative flights via Europe are often fully booked or exorbitantly priced within hours. The government should step in to regulate fares during such crises.

Many of our people work in the Gulf. This disruption hits them and their families the hardest. Hope the embassies are proactive in helping Indian citizens who are stuck either here or over there. Jai Hind.

While the inconvenience is real, let's also spare a thought for the airline staff and ground crew at Chennai airport. They must be dealing with hundreds of angry passengers. A little patience and kindness from us can go a long way.
