While I appreciate the efforts, the real question is what happens to those still stuck? The advisories are fine but ground-level coordination with states needs to be much faster. Many workers from Kerala and Tamil Nadu are still facing delays in getting back.

Impressive logistical operation! 105 flights from UAE alone in one day shows the commitment. But I hope safety standards aren't compromised just to move numbers. The Iran land border route for 2,461 people sounds risky - hope proper precautions were taken.

MEA is doing yeoman's work! But why didn't we anticipate this earlier? Every time there's conflict in West Asia, our diaspora suffers. Need a permanent evacuation plan instead of ad-hoc measures. Also, what about those who lost jobs and savings? 😐

Credit where due - the coordination between embassies, state governments and airlines has been decent. But this crisis also highlights how dependent India is on Gulf jobs. Time to diversify employment opportunities back home so our people don't have to risk their lives abroad.

Glad to see India stepping up for its citizens. The mention of seafarers is important - they're often forgotten in such crises. Hope the helplines are actually responsive and not just numbers on paper. 🙏
