Oscars: Demi Moore steals attention in peacock feathered gown
Los Angeles, March 16
Not only through her compelling performances but also through her sartorial choices, ace actress Demi Moore knows exactly how to keep her audience captivated. The 2026 Oscars were no exception, as she arrived at the ceremony in full dramatic mode.
She was seen donning a green Gucci gown completely covered in feathers. The actress had all eyes on her in the shimmering design, which featured a peacock-like green bodice and a dramatic black feathered train and neckline.
It has already been a standout year in fashion for Demi Moore. Earlier this month, she turned heads at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in a sculptural Schiaparelli gown complete with a dramatic, voluminous train, as per Page Six.
Though the "Landman" actress did not star in a feature film over the last year and, thus, is not nominated for any awards. She is one of the presenters at the Oscars 2026.
Last year, Moore was nominated for Best Actress for her role in 'The Substance'. However, she lost to "Anora" star Mikey Madison.

It's a beautiful gown, no doubt. But honestly, with so many important issues in the world, the amount of media coverage for a dress feels a bit excessive. The fashion is fun, but let's keep some perspective.
Green and black feathers remind me of our own traditional attires during weddings! Demi Moore is carrying it with such grace. It's nice to see global fashion drawing inspiration from nature, something Indian fashion has always celebrated.
Respectfully, while the dress is visually striking, I'm more interested in the work being honored. She's a presenter, not a nominee. The article focuses more on her outfit than on the actual award winners or the films. A bit style over substance, perhaps?
Good for her for making a statement! At her age, she's still setting fashion goals. In India, we often put actresses in a box after a certain age. Hollywood seems more welcoming of mature women owning the spotlight, on and off the screen.
The peacock is our national bird! Seeing it on a global stage like the Oscars feels oddly proud. Hope it inspires some fusion fashion. Can you imagine a saree with a feather-inspired border? The designers back home would kill it.
