As a parent, I can't imagine the anxiety these families in J&K must be feeling. My heart goes out to them. The government must act swiftly and bring all our children home safely. This is a time for action, not just assurances.

This highlights a bigger issue. So many students go to countries like Iran, Ukraine, etc. for affordable MBBS. We need to improve our own medical education infrastructure in India to reduce this dependency and risk.

Respectfully, while the concern is valid, I feel our leaders are sometimes reactive. The MEA should have had contingency plans for Indian citizens in volatile regions like Iran much earlier. Proactive diplomacy is key.

It's not just students, but also pilgrims. My neighbour's elderly father is there for a religious visit. The entire mohalla is praying for his safe return. The government must help all citizens, irrespective of the purpose of their visit.

Operation Ganga during the Ukraine war was commendable. I have full faith that Dr. Jaishankar and the MEA team will handle this with the same efficiency. Jai Hind.
