₹30,000 as relief is good but this is just a band-aid. The real issue is why banks in rural areas keep delaying money release. We need systemic reform, not just VIP diktats every time someone's life is at stake.

In Keonjhar, many poor people face this day in and day out. CM Majhi ji's quick action is commendable. But let's not forget—this is basic governance. Every citizen deserves prompt service without having to approach the CM office. Let's hope the RDC probe leads to real changes. 🙏

The issue was about a death certificate and legal heir certificate which were delayed by local officials. That's the root cause. Banks can't release money without proper documents. So the probe should also look into the civil administration's role in delay. Good that CM ordered RDC inquiry.

Finally a CM who is showing sensitivity toward common man! In our state, earlier such issues were ignored. Now, at least people know if they go to the CM, something will happen. But still, every bank branch and tehsil office should have a helpline for such emergencies.

I live overseas now but still follow Odisha news. This kind of top-down intervention is necessary but not sustainable. Rural banking infrastructure needs to be digitized fully so that manual delays don't happen. Also, why did the bank deny the money initially? The probe must be thorough.
