BJP National President Nitin Nabin will be on a three-day visit to Uttarakhand from May 28 to 30, during which he is scheduled to participate in a series of organisational meetings and interact with senior leaders and party workers ahead of the Assembly elections in 2027.

On the second day of his visit, Nabin will begin with a meeting with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He will later visit the residence of the former Chief Minister, late B.C. Khanduri to pay tributes and meet the bereaved family members.

Following this, he will attend a series of key organisational meetings at a hotel on Rajpur Road beginning at 11 a.m. The first session will involve interaction with BJP MPs and MLAs.

At 2 p.m., Nabin will hold detailed discussions with state office-bearers, Morcha presidents, general secretaries, district in-charges, co-incharges and district presidents. Later at 4 p.m., he will interact with mayors, municipal council chairpersons, Nagar Panchayat heads, district panchayat presidents, vice-presidents and block chiefs.

In the evening, the BJP leader will also meet representatives from the media, social media, and the IT cell, along with party spokespersons.

On the final day of his visit, May 30, Nabin will offer prayers at Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple before visiting the residence of the president of Booth No. 141 in Dakra, Garhi Cantt, for breakfast. He will then attend a meeting of Booth Committee 138 under the Durgamall Mandal.

Later in the day, Nabin is scheduled to address an intellectual meet at Shivalik College in Singhniwala at 11 a.m. At 2 p.m., he will participate in a youth interaction programme at the Chief Minister's residence, Mukhya Sevak Sadan.

The emphasis on meetings with media, social media teams and IT cell shows how much the party values digital reach nowadays. But I hope they also listen to local issues during those intellectual meets. Uttarakhand has real problems in hill areas that need attention, not just election talk.

BJP is leaving no stone unturned in Uttarakhand. From paying respects to late B.C. Khanduri ji to visiting a booth president's home for breakfast - this is inclusive politics at its finest. The youth interaction programme at CM's residence is a smart move to connect with young voters. 🚀

Three days packed with 20+ meetings? I hope the national president also finds time to understand ground realities in the remote areas, not just meet officials in Dehradun hotels. The real challenge is in the villages and small towns where development hasn't reached. Just my two paise.

The visit to Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple on the last day is a nice touch - connecting faith with politics works well here. But I'm more interested in what comes out of those core committee meetings. Uttarakhand needs better infrastructure and employment opportunities, especially for the youth. Hope the discussions are fruitful! 🏔️

This visit feels more like a checklist than genuine engagement. Meeting everyone from MPs to booth workers in 3 days - how deep can these conversations really be? Uttarakhand has specific challenges like migration from hills, tourism regulation, and disaster management. I hope the party addresses these beyond photo ops.
