NHAI adds Toll Plaza Feedback feature to Rajmargyatra app

The National Highways Authority of India has introduced a Toll Plaza Feedback feature on its Rajmargyatra mobile app. Annual pass users will get a notification after crossing a toll plaza inviting them to rate their experience, and all users can access the feature through the app menu. NHAI said citizen participation will help it address user concerns and improve service delivery at toll plazas across the National Highway network.

NHAI launches toll plaza feedback feature on Rajmargyatra app

New Delhi, Oct 19

National Highways Authority of India has introduced 'Toll Plaza Feedback' feature on the Rajmargyatra mobile app using which National Highway users can share their experience at toll plazas to improve their user experience, an official statement said on Monday.

"The initiative aims to strengthen citizen participation and support efforts to make National Highway journeys safer, smoother and more convenient," the statement from Ministry of Road Transport & Highways said

Once annual pass users cross a national highway toll plaza, they will receive a notification from the Rajmarg yatra app inviting them to share their toll plaza experience.

Further, all users can now access the "Toll Plaza Feeback" feature within the menu section of the application to submit their feedback on any toll plaza. Users can rate their experience on a scale and select options relevant to their journey along with adding their remarks, the statement noted.

The feature provides national highway users with a channel to report their experiences and highlight issues requiring attention. It will also support NHAI efforts to identify and monitor areas, where improvements in toll plaza services may be required.

"NHAI encourages users to actively use the Toll Plaza Feedback feature and share their experiences through the Rajmargyatra app. Citizen participation will help NHAI to address user concerns and work towards improving service delivery at the toll plazas across the National Highway network," the statement noted.

NHAI had earlier this month introduced a stricter monitoring and enforcement mechanism to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of toilet blocks and other facilities, including toll collection booths, surrounding areas and signboards.

User Fee Collection Agencies will be required to comply with the prescribed service standards for toilets and other facilities as NHAI officials will inspect these facilities at least once every week under the new mechanism.

The initiative aims to ensure that agencies responsible for maintaining public-facing infrastructure meet prescribed service standards and address deficiencies promptly, the statement from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
