Thank God no one was hurt. Fire in a three-storey building is terrifying, especially in a dense area like Uttam Nagar. The Delhi Fire Service responded quickly, but we need better fire prevention measures in residential and commercial buildings. Let’s hope the authorities inspect such properties regularly. 💪
Glad the fire was brought under control quickly and no casualties. The 06:30 AM timing is interesting—early morning fires are particularly dangerous as people are asleep. Credit to the fire services for their prompt action. But I wonder if the building had proper fire exits and extinguishers. 🚒
Uttam Nagar is a busy area with many shops and offices. The fire affecting electronic goods means significant financial loss for someone. My heart goes out to the people affected. The Delhi Fire Service did well, but the larger issue is that many buildings in Delhi lack basic fire safety compliance. Time for stricter enforcement. ✊
Two fires in one day in Delhi—Uttam Nagar and Parikrama. The restaurant fire due to oil accumulation in chimneys is a scary reminder for all eateries. I hope the MCD or fire department conducts surprise inspections in all commercial kitchens. Better safe than sorry! 😟
No casualties is a huge relief, but this could have been much worse. The fact that the fire spread to all floors in a 350 sq yard building is alarming. We need to ensure that all buildings, especially older ones in areas like Uttam Nagar, have updated electrical wiring and fire alarms. Let’s not wait for
