Neeraj Chopra is such a role model, always encouraging the next generation. Ashish has shown tremendous potential with that 74.09m throw. The gap to the gold (80.50m) is still significant, but at just U20 level, with proper training and support, he can definitely bridge it. Congrats Ashish! 🎉

Honestly, great to see the talent pipeline in Indian athletics. Neeraj won gold in 2016 and now Ashish gets silver in 2024. The system might not be perfect, but our athletes are delivering. Let's hope the sports ministry and private sponsors invest more in these young talents. Shabash! 🙌

If he can work on his strength conditioning, he could easily hit 80m+ in a couple of years. Hope he stays injury-free and keeps climbing.

Anyway, congratulations to Ashish and T. Dharanidharan for putting up a good fight! 💪
