Weekly service is a good start, but I hope they increase the frequency soon. A train from Bengaluru to Alipurduar is a dream for many, but with only one trip per week, tickets will be impossible to get. Please consider making it bi-weekly at least.

Connecting Nagercoil and Trichy to New Jalpaiguri is a brilliant move. It links the deep south with the north-east directly. This will boost tourism and cultural exchange. Can't wait to plan a trip to the mountains from Tamil Nadu! 🙏

As someone who travels frequently to Guwahati for work, the promise of "improved passenger amenities" at an affordable fare is what matters most. The old trains on these routes were quite basic. Hope the new coaches have clean toilets and charging points.

The stoppage at Ayodhya Dham Junction on the Dibrugarh route is a thoughtful addition. It will make pilgrimage much easier for people from Assam and the North East. Infrastructure development that respects both connectivity and culture is always welcome.

While I appreciate the new service, I have a respectful criticism. The article mentions "modern Amrit Bharat rakes" but doesn't detail the specific amenities. For the price, passengers deserve to know exactly what 'modern' means—is it just new seats, or actual upgrades like Wi-Fi and better catering?
