Congratulations to the NCW on this milestone! As a father to a daughter, I truly appreciate the efforts to make our society safer for women. More power to you. Let's hope the next 34 years see even greater empowerment and equality. 💪
Foundation Day events are good, but what matters is daily work. NCW needs to be more proactive and visible. Many women still don't know their rights or how to approach the commission. Awareness campaigns in regional languages are crucial.
Good to see the ministers attending. Hope this translates into better budget allocation and policy support for women's issues. Economic empowerment through skill development should be a top priority alongside safety.
Working in gender studies, I've followed NCW's reports. They've done important work documenting cases and recommending legal reforms. The challenge now is changing deep-seated social attitudes. That's the real foundation for dignity.
Happy Foundation Day! 🎉 As a young professional, I'm grateful for the precedents set. But the commission must also tackle newer challenges like cybercrime against women and workplace harassment in the gig economy. Time to update the playbook.
