Excellent achievement by our BSF women team. But I hope the government also focuses on improving basic infrastructure at border posts - many jawans still face harsh conditions. Still, this is a proud moment for India. Salute to these bravehearts.

Singing Vande Mataram at 8,848 meters - goosebumps! 🥹 These women are not just climbing mountains, they're lifting the spirit of the nation. With their grit and determination, they prove that gender is never a barrier. Big respect to BSF for this initiative.

While I'm proud of these women, I wish similar recognition was given to ordinary women achievers - the village sarpanch, the lady farmer, the woman running a small business. Our media only celebrates when there's a uniform or a political connection. Still, kudos to the team.

My father served in BSF for 25 years. He always said our women jawans are the toughest. This proves it! Constable Tsering Chorol from Kargil - that must be especially meaningful. From guarding the icy borders to climbing the world's highest peak. Incredible! 💪

This is a phenomenal achievement. But I can't help thinking - these women come from diverse states (Ladakh, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Kargil) showing the true unity in diversity of India. When they sang Vande Mataram up there, they represented every Indian. 🇮🇳❤️
