Glad no one was hurt. I've traveled on this route before and the Diamond crossing at Pune has always seemed tricky. Railways needs to prioritize safety over speed. Good that they're acting immediately.
Proper maintenance is key. We keep celebrating new trains but forget the old infrastructure underneath. This derailment, though minor, shows we need to upgrade our tracks and crossings nationwide. Not just for Vande Bharat but for all trains.
No casualties, that's the most important thing. But honestly, it's embarrassing for a modern train like Vande Bharat to derail because of an old crossing. Kudos to the quick response team though. ❤️
Another day, another infrastructure issue! 🚂 CPRO says they are replacing similar non-standard crossings across Indian Railways—this should have been done long back. Hope the inquiry is thorough and not just another report gathering dust.
