Orchha, April 9

Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party President Hemant Khandelwal on Thursday addressed a district-level organisational meeting in Orchha town of Niwari district, underlining the party's cadre-based strength and commitment to grassroots outreach.

Addressing the local BJP workers, Khandelwal said that since the days of the BJP, the party has built a distinct identity as a cadre-based organisation rooted in discipline and ideological commitment.

He emphasised that dedication and unwavering loyalty to the party's core principles have remained its strongest pillars.

Earlier on Thursday, Khandelwal also participated in a 'Chhoti Toli' (small group) meeting, where he held direct interactions with BJP workers and local representatives.

During these engagements, the State BJP Chief reviewed organisational activities and sought feedback from grassroot workers regarding the implementation of government schemes and party programmes.

Highlighting the role of party workers, Khandelwal said their enthusiasm and deep faith in the organisation continue to drive the BJP's expansion across the state.

He urged BJP workers to further strengthen booth-level structures and maintain constant engagement with the public.

Khandelwal also stressed the importance of ensuring that welfare schemes of the 'double engine' government reach every beneficiary.

The meeting was the part of the BJP's ongoing organisational strengthening drive across Madhya Pradesh ahead of upcoming political engagements, according to state BJP's press note on Thursday.

During his visit, Khandelwal also offered prayers at a prominent temple in Orchha during his visit to Niwari district.

Known for its rich cultural and religious heritage, Orchha was founded in the 16th century by Bundela ruler Rudra Pratap Singh and later flourished under rulers like Vir Singh Deo.

The town is famed for its grand temples and palaces, including the iconic Ram Raja Temple, where Lord Ram is worshipped as a king.

The State BJP Chief sought blessings for the state's prosperity and well-being of its citizens.

Orchha is such a beautiful historical town! Glad the meeting was held there. Hope the development focus reaches such heritage cities too, not just political meetings. The 'double engine' should also mean better tourism infrastructure. 🙏

All this talk of cadre strength is fine, but what about the actual issues? We need more focus on unemployment and inflation in MP. Organisational meetings are important, but public welfare should be the top priority, not just party expansion.

Interesting to read about the 'Chhoti Toli' meetings. Direct interaction with workers is crucial for any political party. The feedback loop from grassroots about scheme implementation is a smart move. Hope it translates to better governance.

Jai Shri Ram! 🙏 Offering prayers at the Ram Raja Temple in Orchha is a wonderful gesture. Our leaders should always seek blessings for the people's prosperity. Discipline and ideology combined with devotion - that's the right path.

The emphasis on ensuring welfare schemes reach every beneficiary is the key point here. In rural MP, there's often a gap between announcement and delivery. If booth-level workers can bridge that gap, it will be a huge service to the public.
