As a tourist who loves visiting Chandni Chowk, I'm glad to hear this. The history and energy are incredible, but the infrastructure and cleanliness can be challenging. A coordinated effort between departments is exactly what's needed to preserve this amazing place for everyone.

Actions speak louder than words, Sir. We have heard promises of "turning around" Chandni Chowk for decades. The LG and CM doing joint inspections is a positive step, but will it translate to the ground? Show us a timeline, a concrete plan for sewer lines and pedestrian pathways. Then we will believe.

This is the right approach. Delhi's problems are too complex for any one department to handle alone. Seeing the LG and CM together at Vasudev Ghat is a good sign of political cooperation too. Hope this collaborative model extends to all of Delhi's iconic but struggling markets, like Sarojini and Lajpat.

"End the era of departments working in isolation" – if they can actually achieve this, it will be a bigger revolution than any flyover. The biggest issue in our administration is lack of coordination. Fingers crossed this isn't just another photo-op in Chandni Chowk.

Interesting to see this focus on collaborative governance. In many cities worldwide, breaking down departmental silos is key to effective urban management. Hope Delhi can become a model for other Indian metros. The summer and monsoon prep is a very practical place to start testing this approach.
