I'm so glad they are doing this. His songs with Laxmikant-Pyarelal are the soundtrack of my parents' youth. "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai" from *Anpadh* still makes me cry. Hope they include some of the lesser-known gems along with the big hits.

Respectfully, while the tribute is a nice idea, I hope it's not just another glamorized award show segment. Dharmendra ji's legacy deserves depth and authenticity, not just a medley of songs with flashy lights. Mithoon is talented, so I have hope.

As someone relatively new to classic Hindi cinema, this is wonderful. Articles like this and tributes help bridge the gap between generations. I've started watching some of his films on streaming, and his screen presence is magnetic. Looking forward to discovering his music through this.

He was the original "He-Man"! But beyond the action, he had such a gentle soul in his romantic roles. The article is right—his silence spoke volumes. A musical tribute is the perfect way to honour him. Jai ho, Dharmendra ji! 🙏

My mother is his biggest fan. She has all his film magazines from the 70s. We will definitely be watching the Zee Cine Awards together. It's heartwarming to see his work being celebrated for new audiences. True legends never fade.
