'Mirzapur: The Movie' trailer: Pankaj Tripathi, Ravi Kishan fight for 'gaddi', go violent in this action thriller

The trailer of the much-awaited Mirzapur-The Movie is finally out, offering fans a glimpse into the war of the Mirzapur throne among Pankaj Tripathi, Ravi Kishan and others.
Continuing from the world of Season 1, 'Mirzapur: The Movie' brings together some of the franchise's most beloved and iconic characters, including Kaleen Bhaiya, Munna Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit.
At the centre of the new chapter is the race for the Mirzapur throne, with new contenders entering the fray and changing dynamics.
The film features Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Ali Fazal, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohitt Maalik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi, Sonal S. Chauhan, Anangsha Biswas, Shaji Chaudhary, Satendra Soni, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles.
Excel Entertainment shared the trailer on their Instagram handle on Tuesday.
Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, 'Mirzapur: The Movie' is directed by Gurmmeet Singh, written by Puneet Krishna, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani.
'Mirzapur: The Movie' is set to hit theatres on September 4, 2026.

Honestly, I'm a bit concerned about the glorification of violence in this franchise. I know it's fiction, but with so many young viewers, I hope the film shows the consequences too. The trailer looks intense, but let's not forget it's just entertainment. #JustSaying
The casting is brilliant! Jitendra Kumar is an unexpected addition, but I think he's going to bring a new dynamic to the story. Seeing Ravi Kishan and Pankaj Tripathi in the same frame is like a dream matchup. 🔥🔥
Mirzapur is the new Gangs of Wasseypur for our generation! The trailer has that raw, gritty UP/Bihar energy that we grew up watching. Excel Entertainment never disappoints. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani know their craft. Just hoping the story doesn't drag like the web series sometimes did.
Kaleen bhaiya's dialogue delivery in the trailer is pure gold! "Mirzapur ka gaddi kaun sambhalega?" - goosebumps! But I feel bad for Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu) - he's always trying to prove himself. This time it looks like he's going all out. Theatre release on Sep 4? Booked my calendar already! 🎬
