Minnie Driver reveals how she survived a horrific car crash in France

Actress Minnie Driver has shared that she survived a fatal car accident in France. She revealed that the two "crawled out" of the wreck alive.
Driver, who is known for her work in films such as Grosse Pointe Blank, Good Will Hunting, The Phantom of the Opera and Owning Mahowny, shared a video on Instagram with a neck brace. She went on to share that she suffered a sprained neck and remains in shock.
In the video, Minnie Driver is heard saying: "Hi guys, Paris update... I'm actually back in London. I'm sorry about the filter I've put on this, but honestly, without it, I just looked appalling. Even the dog wouldn't look at me."
"I got into a really bad car accident a few days ago with my friend Ben, and we somehow walked out of it. Well, we didn't walk out of it... We crawled out of it but we did get out of it alive. To be very clear, it was not our fault."
Sharing the details, the actress said: "We were driving on a country road in the middle of France, and a car didn't stop at an intersection. It was going at speed, and we just T-boned it. I'm fine. I've got a sprained neck, and I'm really in shock and sort of cry all the time, but I'm going to heal."
Driver said that the reason she is "not dead" is because the "car that we were driving".
"I've never been in a crash before, but the 360-degree airbags are what saved our lives. The fact that the entire car didn't just concertina and crush us is down to the design of that car, which is frankly astonishing."
"So, this is categorically not a car ad. Can you imagine if that's what I was doing? I want to celebrate that car. You know, I'm a Mini driver pun intended but I need to celebrate the car that saved us because we've got family and people who love us, and I am so grateful to be alive."
"So, Kia, you are a brilliant car company. You're amazing, and thanks very much from me, my mate Ben Homewood, my family, and the people who love me."
Taking to the caption section, the actress wrote: "Shout out to the van driver who stopped and helped us before the ambulances arrived. Special mention to the car who slowed down took in the scene and drove off without stopping. I guess this is the Dao of the world, the light and the dark."
