Mini Mathur opened up about her husband and filmmaker Kabir Khan's reaction to her victory on the reality show 'Alliance.'

In an exclusive interview with IANS, the television host revealed that her win came as a surprise not just to her but also to her family, who never expected her to manage the challenges of the show without her phone, loved ones, and daily routine. Talking about Kabir's response, Mini Mathur revealed that she had never seen him become so emotionally invested in any other project throughout her career.

She shared, "I do not think anyone in my family expected me to survive without my phone, my people, my routine, and everything I hold close. When I came back, I was amazed to see how invested Kabir had become in the show. There were endless family WhatsApp conversations discussing every move made by every contestant. I honestly do not remember another project in my career where Kabir was this emotionally invested."

"I am sure he is extremely proud of me, just like my children and the rest of my family. To be honest, everything still feels surreal. I have only just stepped out of the house, and I had no idea what people outside were saying about me. This entire experience has given me a completely new lease on life," added Mini.

Speaking about winning the reality show, Mathur stated, "I approached this game in a very different way. I never felt the need to scream, shout, play unnecessary politics, or get involved in everyone's business. My biggest strength was that I genuinely enjoyed the arena challenges. I am a very competitive person, and that is exactly why I came on this reality show. I focused on playing my own game, while handling all the headquarters drama according to my personal moral compass."

"I never isolated anyone, nor did I unnecessarily get involved in conflicts. I also did not have major arguments with anyone. Whenever I felt it was important to express my opinion, I did so."

Mini Mathur emerged as the winner of the first season of Prime Video's "Alliance." She defeated Aly Goni and Ruhee Dosani in the grand finale.

Mini is a class apart. The way she handled the game without playing politics is a lesson for all these young influencers who think reality shows are all about shouting matches. Also, Kabir Khan being her biggest cheerleader at home is goals! #CoupleGoals

Honestly, I didn't watch the show, but this interview makes me want to see how Mini played the game. It's refreshing to see someone win without being toxic or controversial. The fact that she didn't isolate anyone and still managed to win is commendable. Kabir must be proud!

This is what real sportsmanship looks like. Mini didn't need to create unnecessary conflicts to stay relevant on the show. Her approach of sticking to her moral compass while being competitive is something everyone should learn. Also, the part about family WhatsApp groups discussing every contestant's move - so desi and so true! 😂

Love how Mini stayed true to herself even in such a high-pressure environment. She didn't compromise her values to win, and that's what makes this victory special. Kabir Khan being emotionally invested shows they have a beautiful, supportive marriage. More power to them! 💪

I appreciate Mini's clarity about her game strategy. Reality shows often force contestants to create drama, but she refused to engage in that nonsense. Her win proves that being genuine still works. Just wish more contestants would follow her approach instead of manufacturing fights for TRPs.
