Los Angeles, July 1

Hollywood actress Millie Bobby Brown has shed light on the greatest struggle she faced while filming 'Enola Holmes 3', and it had nothing to do with solving mysteries.

The actress revealed that shooting the latest installment of Netflix's franchise in Malta came with one major obstacle, the intense heat, reports 'People' magazine.

She appeared on the latest episode of the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast, as she said, "It was hot and being in that clothing, it was not Malta-friendly".

Enola Holmes 3 sees Brown reprise her role as Sherlock Holmes' younger sister, the clever detective whose latest adventure takes her to Malta for a new mystery.

As per 'People', the star-studded cast includes Brown, Louis Partridge, Helena Bonham Carter, Henry Cavill, who is reprising his role as Sherlock, and Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson. Brown said the temperature became so overwhelming that she found herself advocating for everyone working on set.

She shared, "I had to have a serious sit-down with production about bringing in more fans and air conditioning tents for the crew. Basically my sole job for two months was keeping the crew and cast cool".

She also said that it was so hot that it was difficult to stay focused while filming. She went on, "It's like when I filmed 'Stranger Things' season 4 in New Mexico. We were filming in the desert, and I'm trying to focus, but I can't keep my eyes open because the sun and the sand was so bright. There's so many added environment-like issues that you can face on set that you'd never think to an audience eye".

The actress joked that viewers may have a new appreciation for what went into making the film.

Honestly, first world problems much? Millions of Indians work in actual heat without ACs or fans every day. But I suppose in Hollywood, even a slight discomfort is a 'major struggle'. Still, good on her for looking after the crew - that's more than many big stars do.

Maltese summer is no joke, yaar. I visited once in July and it felt like being inside a tandoor! Millie is right to advocate for proper cooling - when you're shooting 12-hour days, heat exhaustion is real. Glad she's using her platform. Can't wait to see Himesh Patel as Dr Watson! 🇮🇳🎬

People criticizing her should chill. She's literally fighting for better working conditions for EVERYONE on set, not just herself. That's the kind of empathy we need more of. Also, Enola Holmes is such a wholesome franchise - perfect for family viewing with chai ☕

OMG, Henry Cavill as Sherlock? Dr Watson played by an Indian-origin actor? This is going to be epic! 🕵️‍♂️ Millie is such a sweet soul for caring about the crew. Reminds me of our Bollywood shoots in Rajasthan - people underestimate how brutal heat can be for actors in heavy costumes. Major respect!

While I appreciate the effort, this feels like typical Hollywood PR. 'Oh, I suffered so much for my art.' Meanwhile, in India, we have daily wage workers building infrastructure in 45°C. Perspective matters. But I'll still watch the film - En
