Good appointment but honestly, NDMC needs someone who understands the common man's problems, not just the VIP areas. The New Delhi area has luxury hotels and embassies, but what about the small shopkeepers and residents in areas like Gole Market? Hope he works for everyone.

AGMUT cadre officers are quite versatile given they get postings in multiple UTs. Dwivedi sir's experience will be beneficial. But I wish MHA would have announced some concrete plans for the upcoming projects alongside this appointment. Any news on the redevelopment of the New Delhi area?

Every time a new officer joins, we hear the same old promises. Let's hope Dwivedi ji brings a fresh approach to the drainage problem during monsoons and parking issues in Connaught Place. The Old Delhi side gets floods every year while New Delhi remains pristine. Time for balanced development. 🌧️

A straightforward bureaucratic reshuffle, but crucial one. NDMC is the face of India's capital for international delegations and tourists. An experienced IAS officer like Dwivedi should streamline the municipal services. Wishing him a successful tenure.

Hmm, let's see how much administrative efficiency this brings. These appointments are standard procedure. More important is whether he can fix the chaotic traffic near India Gate and the shabby condition of some government buildings. Also, the NDMC schools need urgent attention, not just the VIP guesthouses.
