Finally, some attention to the Northeast! Tura has so much potential for tourism with its natural beauty. The Pelga Tourist Circuits and hospitality complex could be a game-changer. But honestly, every time I see these big budget announcements, I wonder how much actually reaches the ground. Remember the Shillong beautification project? Let's hope the execution is better this time. 🤔

Good to see the PA Sangma Sports Complex getting a West Stand - that man did a lot for sports in the region. But honestly, I'm more excited about the Tura Technology Park. If they can create real IT infrastructure in the Northeast, it could stop the brain drain to Bangalore and Hyderabad. The working women's hostel is also a much-needed initiative. 👏

As someone who visited Tura last year, I'm genuinely excited about the Tura Promenade and City Park. The town has such beautiful surroundings but lacks proper public spaces. However, I hope they don't go overboard with concrete jungle mentality. Keep it green and eco-friendly, please! And active ageing centre - nice touch for the senior citizens. 😊

Rs 165 crore for an integrated administrative complex? That's a lot of taxpayer money for a building. Meanwhile, I hope the heliport infrastructure isn't just for VIP use. If they want real development, they should prioritize roads and connectivity to remote villages. Tura is beautiful but many areas still lack basic road access. The plan is ambitious, but let's see the execution.
