"May your journey into motherhood be filled with grace": Smriti Irani extends best wishes to mom-to-be Karishma Tanna
Mumbai, June 17
Actor-politician Smriti Irani recently met her 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' co-star Karishma Tanna, who is expecting her first child.
Smriti shared an adorable picture with the mom-to-be on Instagram, extending heartfelt wishes and blessings for this new chapter of her life.
"The baby is having a baby. And somewhere in my heart, I'm still looking at that lanky teenager racing through the corridors of a television set, unaware of the remarkable woman she would become. God bless you, Tanna. May your journey into motherhood be filled with grace, laughter, good health, and immeasurable love. The next role of your life awaits--and I know you'll be brilliant in it. @karishmaktanna," she posted.
Earlier in April, Karishma announced her pregnancy in a heartfelt Instagram post.
She and her husband, Varun Bangera, revealed the pregnancy with a series of intimate photographs, marking a new chapter in their lives.
In the post, Karishma shared a carousel of pictures featuring the couple posing together with baby shoes and wearing caps labelled "Mom" and "Dad."
Accompanying the images was a caption that read, "A little Miracle, Our greatest gift- August 2026," confirming the expected arrival date of their child.
Karishma and Varun tied the knot on February 5, 2022.

Lovely gesture from Smriti ji. But I wish our politicians would spend more time on real issues like inflation and unemployment rather than posting Instagram wishes. Just saying.
The way Smriti described Karishma as a "lanky teenager" took me back to the Kyunki Saas days! So much nostalgia. Wishing the Tanna-Bangera family all the happiness. ❤️
August 2026 is so far away! But it's exciting. Karishma looks glowing in the pictures. And Smriti's message is pure class. Indian TV's golden era bonds are still strong.
Smriti Irani's note is so poetic. But why make everything political? Can't we just celebrate a woman's journey into motherhood without analyzing every word?
