Hosting this in the Global South is crucial. For too long, AI rules have been set by a few Western nations. India's voice on safety, governance, and equitable benefits is needed. The three Sutras - People, Planet, Progress - sound promising. Let's see the actual outcomes.

As someone working in tech, I'm hopeful but cautious. Summits are good for dialogue, but the real test is in implementation and ensuring small businesses and rural areas benefit from AI, not just big corporations. The "Progress" pillar must be inclusive.

Bharat Mandapam is becoming a real hub for global events! Good to see leaders from Spain, Finland, Sweden too. This shows India's growing soft power. Hopefully, the discussions on environmentally sustainable AI are serious and lead to actionable plans.

While the summit's goals are noble, I hope it addresses the immediate risks like job displacement in our country. We need policies for skilling and social security alongside this tech push. The "People" pillar should mean protecting livelihoods too.
