Honestly, it's easy for celebrities with money and time to say this. For a working class person in Mumbai, 'me-time' means the 10 minutes you get between catching two locals. But I get her point. We all need to pause sometimes. Good for her for promoting mental health awareness.
Love this! Our generation is finally breaking the cycle of constantly sacrificing ourselves for others. My parents think I'm wasting time when I take a day off for self-care, but Manisha Koirala putting this out there gives me validation. Khud ka khayal rakhna bhi zaroori hai! ❤️
She's been through so much health wise. If anyone deserves this peace, it's her. Wishing her the best on this wellness journey. Also, Heeramandi was brilliant! Manisha's grace shines through even in a small role. 😊
I think it's wonderful that she's sharing her parents' retirement life too. Shows how family values are still important while promoting self-care. But honestly, the picture looks staged - wish celebrities would show real, messy 'me-time' too. Still, a good message overall.
As someone who's lived in both India and the US, I've seen how different the approach to self-care is. In India, it's seen as lazy. In the West, it's almost a religion. Manisha's perspective is the perfect middle ground. Pause. Breathe. Reset. Simple but powerful words
