Washington DC, March 12

Reality star Kylie Jenner is hinting at a bigger Hollywood presence after making her film debut in Charli XCX's mockumentary 'The Moment', according to People.

The 28-year-old said she has received scripts but is waiting for the right project. "I 100 per cent want to do more," Jenner said, adding, "I really like comedy. I think I'm good at it. Maybe next time I talk to you, I'll be the lead of an action movie!"

In the Aidan Zamiri-directed 'The Moment', Jenner played a version of herself opposite Charli XCX in a scene at an Ibiza spa. She revealed she had improvised the moment, presenting it "as a joke," and was delighted when it became part of the script. Charli described filming with Jenner as "so fun... easy and effortless."

Beyond 'The Moment', Jenner has appeared in music videos, including Charli and A. G. Cook's "Residue," and lent her voice to The Simpsons and the TV movie Trolls Holiday in Harmony. She has also been supporting her partner, Oscar nominee Timothee Chalamet, at various red carpet events since April 2023, according to People.

Discussing future on-screen opportunities, Jenner said she wants to "focus on just me, my businesses, my work, traveling with my kids, enjoying my kids." She shares daughter Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4, with ex Travis Scott and revealed plans to expand her family.

'The Moment' premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and hit theaters on January 30, with Jenner's performance drawing positive attention from fans and collaborators alike.

Charli called filming with Jenner "so fun" in a February 3 screening Q&A.

"It really was so easy and effortless and she really, like, played with it, did her thing," the "365" singer said at the time, according to People.

Another celebrity wanting to be an actor. Yawn. Focus on your businesses, Kylie. We have enough actors who have trained for years struggling to get one role.

If she's good at comedy, why not? Our own stars like Alia Bhatt or Ayushmann Khurrana also experiment. But the real test is the audience. Let's see if she can actually make people laugh beyond a cameo.

She seems to have a good sense of humor about herself in that mockumentary. I think it's great she wants to focus on her work and kids. That's a relatable goal for many working mothers here in India too.

The article says she improvised and it became part of the script. That's actually a skill! Many of our best comic actors are brilliant at improvisation. Maybe she has a genuine talent for it. Best of luck to her.

It's her life, she can do what she wants. But reading this just reminds me of the insane privilege some people are born with. Meanwhile, my cousin in Mumbai is doing 3 auditions a day for small TV roles. The world isn't fair, yaar.
