Singer Kumar Sanu's son and former 'Bigg Boss 14' contestant Jaan Kumar Sanu has been admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.
The singer shared the update with his fans through a video on social media on Sunday.
Jaan posted a video from his hospital room, where he was seen joking about his situation. Giving fans a light-hearted "fit check" of his hospital clothes, the text on the video read, "Fit check - Wearing my favourite designer: Kokilaben. Checked in for: COVID from Wuhan."
He also added a humorous touch to the post with the caption, "China se aaya mera dost (My friend came from China)," while confirming that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
His post has since drawn messages from fans, who wished him a speedy recovery.
Jaan Kumar Sanu is the son of veteran playback singer Kumar Sanu, who is known for delivering several hit songs in the 1990s. Like his father, Jaan has also made a career in music and often shares updates about his songs and personal life with fans on social media.
He also became a familiar face after taking part in 'Bigg Boss 14,' which brought him wider recognition among television audiences.
