Actress Kubbra Sait is back on the sets of the second season of the hit series 'Farzi', as she has given fans a glimpse of her return to the popular show.

Kubbra, who played Saira in the first season, shared pictures from the sets on Friday. In the photos, the actress can be seen posing outside her vanity van, which has "Saira" and "FZ2" written on it.

The actress teased fans about her return before confirming that she has started shooting for the new season. In her Instagram post, she wrote, "Is this FAKE news?" She then added, "Haan yaaar! Finally mad excited... let's begin season #FARZI."

Kubbra also shared her excitement in the caption, writing, "Come off, let's begin the JOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY".

Created by Raj & DK, 'Farzi' stars Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, along with Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Bhuvan Arora.

The first season, which premiered in 2023, followed Shahid Kapoor's Sunny, a small-time artist who gets involved in making fake currency. Vijay Sethupathi played a task force officer trying to stop him.

Kubbra played Saira, a woman closely connected to Kay Kay Menon's character Mansoor Dalal. The first season also featured Regina Cassandra and Amol Palekar in key roles.

The second season is once again being directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. Details about the storyline and release date are yet to be announced.

'Farzi' also marked Shahid Kapoor's debut on a streaming platform.
