As Scott Foley turned 54, actress Kerry Washington penned a birthday note for her "Scandal" family member and said Another trip around the sun, while standing in the sun.
In the note shared on Instagram, Washington penned a heartfelt wish for her former Scandal co-star, celebrating their enduring friendship. She even shared two pictures featuring them from the sets of the show.
Tagging Foley as her "one and only", she wrote: "Another trip around the sun, while STANDING IN THE SUN, for the one and only, @scottkfoley. Love you soooooooo much. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! #ScandalFam #Olake."
Scandal is an American political thriller television series starring Kerry Washington. Created by Shonda Rhimes, it aired from 2012 to 2018, for 124 episodes over seven seasons. Washington's Olivia Pope is partially based on former George H. W. Bush administration press aide Judy Smith, who was a co-executive producer.
Foley is known for roles on shows such as The Unit, Scrubs, Felicity, and Scandal. In film, he's most known as Roman Bridger in Scream 3. He has also guest starred on Grey's Anatomy, Dawson's Creek, and House.
His latest release is Scream 7 is directed by Kevin Williamson and written by Williamson and Guy Busick. It is the sequel to Scream VI and the seventh installment in the Scream film series.
The film stars Neve Campbell, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, and Courteney Cox reprising their roles from the previous films, with Isabel May, Anna Camp, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, McKenna Grace, Asa Germann, Celeste O'Connor, Sam Rechner, Mark Consuelos, Tim Simons, and Joel McHale also starring. The film follows Sidney Prescott, whose daughter Tatum is targeted by a new Ghostface killer.
The story follows a new Ghostface killer, who emerges in the quiet town where Sidney has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter becomes the next target.

Never watched Scandal fully, but I remember Scott Foley from Scream 3! That movie scared me as a kid but Roman Bridger was a memorable villain. Cool to see he's still active in the industry. Seems like a genuine bond between co-stars.
