As someone who has studied Indian history, Shivaji Maharaj's administrative skills and naval vision were truly ahead of his time. His emphasis on 'Swarajya' and welfare of his people is a lesson for all leaders, even today.

While paying tribute is good, I wish our current leaders would also embody his practical governance and justice for all, regardless of community. His respect for women and all religions is often overlooked in modern political narratives.

His death anniversary always makes me emotional. Growing up in Maharashtra, we heard so many stories of his bravery and wisdom from our grandparents. He wasn't just a king; he was a protector of the common people. A real hero!
