It’s good that the process is transparent with clear dates and deposit rules. But I hope the candidates focus on real issues like agriculture, education, and water scarcity in Karnataka, not just political power games. We need more accountable leaders!
Interesting that only 10 MLAs’ signatures are needed to file nomination. That’s a low bar, so expect many candidates! But the real fight will be between Congress and BJP for these seats. The people of Karnataka want stability, not constant political drama. 🗳️
This election is a test for both parties. BJP needs to hold its ground after recent losses, while Congress will want to prove its dominance in the state. Let’s see if they field fresh faces or old guards. Karnataka deserves better governance! 🇮🇳
The nomination fee difference for SC/ST and others is a good step—Rs 5,000 vs Rs 10,000 for other candidates. But I worry about the influence of money power in these elections. We need clean candidates, not those with deep pockets. 🙏
Just another round of political jockeying. Nothing new. The real issue is that these council members often do little for the common man. I wish the process would focus on merit and public service, not party loyalty! 😒
