Kandla Port Hosts Students for National Space Day 2026

Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla, hosted an interactive visit for school students as part of National Space Day 2026, aiming to spark curiosity in space exploration and science. Chairman Sushil Kumar Singh engaged with the students, urging them to dream big and embrace science and technology. The port also recently organized the Kandla Green Hydrogen Conclave 2026, which featured industry leaders and a message from Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla, welcomed school students for an interactive visit as part of National Space Day 2026, the port said in a statement.

"As part of National Space Day 2026, Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla welcomed school students for an interactive and insightful visit, sparking curiosity about the fascinating world of space exploration, science and innovation," the port said.

"Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman, DPA, interacted with the students and encouraged them to dream big, stay curious and embrace science & technology for shaping the future," it added.

On August 21, Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla, organised the Kandla Green Hydrogen Conclave 2026 on Friday at its Administrative Office Building, Gandhidham, bringing together thought leaders, industry experts and delegates from across the globe.

As per DPA Kandla, the Conclave commenced with a virtual video message by Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

The Conclave was held in the presence of Sushil Kumar Singh, Chairman, DPA Kandla; Erik Solheim, former Minister, Kingdom of Norway & President, International Advisory Board (GH2 India); and other dignitaries.
