Shooting in Morocco for the Egypt scenes is a smart choice. Hope they handle the cultural aspects with more sensitivity this time. The original was fun but had some dated stereotypes. Fingers crossed for a respectful yet thrilling adventure.

Honestly, I'm skeptical. Reboots rarely capture the original magic. The charm was of its time. Why not create something new instead of rehashing old IP? With that said, I'll probably still watch it for the nostalgia factor.

John Hannah was the best part of those movies! "Hey, O'Connell! Looks to me like I've got all the horses!" His delivery was perfect. Glad the producers are bringing the band back together. Hope the new directors can match the original's balance of horror and comedy.

The Mummy (1999) was a staple on cable TV here. Watched it countless times with family. Having the original cast is a masterstroke. But 2028 is so far away! At least we get the re-release in 2026. Time for a new generation to experience it in theatres.

Interesting they're shooting in London and Morocco. I wonder if they'll include any Indian actors or references, given the historical trade links with Egypt. The original had that scene with the map of India. A small cameo from an Indian star would be awesome!
