IPL 2026: Gujarat Titans deepen fan connect with player-led engagement in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad, April 16
Gujarat Titans brought fans closer to the team with a high-energy, community-driven engagement in Ahmedabad, featuring star players Sai Sudharsan, Washington Sundar, Glenn Phillips, and Kagiso Rabada, who interacted with supporters during the on-ground event.
The session, held at FRIZBEE Food Park, included fun-led challenges, informal interactions, and experiential moments designed to create a more personal connection between players and fans. Attendees had the opportunity to interact closely with the players, participate in activities, and experience the Gujarat Titans ecosystem beyond the boundaries of the stadium, according to a press release.
This initiative is part of the Gujarat Titans' broader fan-first philosophy, an approach that places supporters at the centre of the franchise's growth strategy and has helped strengthen their position as one of the leading fan-centric teams in the IPL. The Titans have consistently focused on building deeper, more meaningful engagement with their fan base through accessible and immersive experiences.
Over the past seasons, the Gujarat Titans have expanded their fan outreach through multiple on-ground activations and community engagements. The Gujarat Titans aim to create year-round engagement, ensuring that fan interaction extends beyond matchdays.
By facilitating direct player access and prioritising authentic fan experiences, the Gujarat Titans continue to strengthen their emotional connection with supporters. The Ahmedabad engagement reflects the franchise's commitment to making fans active participants in the team's journey, further reinforcing their standing as a leader in fan-first engagement within the IPL.
Extending this fan-first approach beyond on-ground engagements, the Gujarat Titans recently issued a ticketing advisory for their rescheduled fixture against the Chennai Super Kings. The match, originally scheduled for April 26, will now be played on May 21 at 7:30 PM at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Fans who had already booked tickets have been given the option to either retain their tickets for the revised date or opt for a full refund, reinforcing the franchise's commitment to offering flexibility, choice, and a seamless experience to fans.
Following two back-to-back wins, the Gujarat Titans are set to face the Kolkata Knight Riders in Ahmedabad on Friday.

Great initiative, but I hope they do more of these in other cities across Gujarat too. Not everyone can travel to Ahmedabad. As a fan from Surat, I'd love to see our champions come here for a community event. The fan-first philosophy should include the entire state!
The ticketing policy for the rescheduled CSK match is a class act. No hassle, full refund option. This is how you build lifelong loyalty. Other franchises, please take note. Customer service in Indian sports is often terrible, but GT is setting a new standard.
As someone new to following IPL, this kind of access is incredible. Seeing Rabada and Phillips just hanging out with fans is so cool. It makes the whole league feel more connected and less corporate. Well done, Titans!
Building a fan base takes more than just winning matches. It's about these moments. After Hardik left, many wondered about the team's heart. Events like this show the heart is still there, just with a different beat. All the best for the KKR match! 💙
Respectfully, while the engagement is good, the real test is performance on the field. Two wins are a start, but consistency is key. Hope the positive energy from the fans translates into a solid season. The focus should remain 70% on cricket, 30% on these events.
