In a post on X, the Prime Minister stated, "Intelligence, rationality and decision-making make science and technology useful to the masses. The India AI Impact Summit also aims to see how AI can be used in the public interest. Service, hearing, grasping and holding. Knowledge of the meaning and knowledge of the truth are the attributes of intellect."

Meanwhile, President & Chief Executive Officer, Mukesh Aghi underlined the critical importance of how India is leading the effort to ensure democratisation and diffusion of AI.

"India has taken a very strong lead in trying to make AI more affordable, scalable, and accessible to its citizens. And it has one of the largest structured database to leverage that. So in every aspect, India is going to play a very pivotal role in AI on a global basis. The Summit is the first global AI gathering to be hosted in the Global South and has drawn participation from over 20 Heads of State, 60 Ministers and 500 global AI leaders. Good to see India taking the lead in the Global South. The PM's point about "intelligence and rationality" is key - we need ethical AI that doesn't just chase profits but actually solves problems for common people. Hope the startups at the expo get real support.

️While the summit sounds impressive, I hope the focus remains on implementation. We have great ideas and talent, but execution is often where we lag. Let's see concrete policies come out of this, not just speeches. The potential is huge if done right.

As someone working in tech, it's exciting to see India host such a major global AI event. The emphasis on a structured database is our biggest strength. If we can leverage Aadhaar and other digital public goods responsibly, the applications are endless.

"Service, hearing, grasping and holding" - interesting philosophical take from the PM. Technology with a human touch and Indian values is the need of the hour. Jai Hind!
