Alyssa Healy's retirement series adds an emotional layer. Hope we give her a tough fight but also a fitting farewell. The squad looks balanced, though I'm a bit concerned about the pace attack on those bouncy Perth wickets. Renuka will have to lead from the front.

The Rising Stars Asia Cup squad is also very interesting! Radha Yadav as captain is a good move. And the match against Pakistan on Feb 15th... already getting the jitters! Hope our young guns perform. Best of luck to both teams. 💪

Following from the UK. It's fantastic to see more Test cricket for women. The schedule is packed - white ball first, then the Test. Hope the players manage the workload. The inclusion of WPL stars in the A squad shows the league's impact.

Good squad overall. But I have to ask, where is Shikha Pandey? She has experience in Australian conditions. Picking so many debutants for a Test at the WACA feels a bit risky. Hope the selection committee knows what they're doing.

The future looks bright with these A team selections. Vrinda Dinesh was brilliant in the WPL. Also, wishing a speedy recovery to Deeya Yadav. Injuries are so unfortunate. Fingers crossed she gets fit in time for the Asia Cup.
