Great to see so many young talents across the board. But I'm most excited about David P's 8.22m in long jump - that's world-class potential right there! India's athletics future looks bright.
So proud of our athletes! Especially the women - Pooja in high jump, Rashdeep Kaur in 400m, Bhavani Yadav in long jump. But I think we need more grassroots support for athletics in rural areas. So much untapped talent in our villages. 🌟
David P and Shahnavaz Khan gave us a thriller in men's long jump! 8.22m vs 8.17m - that's nail-biting stuff. Indian athletics is getting competitive and that's exactly what we need for international success. 🙌
Lovely to see results from Kerala athletes too - Aromal T in high jump, Aleena T Saji in triple jump. But honestly, I'm a bit concerned about the gap between Pooja and the rest in women's high jump. Giji George at 1.64m is way behind. We need more depth in the sport.
Amazing performances all around! Special mention to the U20 athletes - Neil Samraj, Ranjith Kumar, Sandeep Vinod Kumar. These kids are the future of Indian athletics. Hope the government and private sectors like JSW and Reliance continue to support them. 💪
