The Prime Minister also thanked the UAE leadership for expressing condolences over the recent natural disaster in Uttar Pradesh and said he had been personally eager to meet the UAE president. "We strongly condemn the attacks on the UAE. The way the UAE has been targeted is unacceptable in any way," PM Modi stated during the talks.

Modi ji calling UAE his "second home" is so heartwarming. The Indian community there is huge, and it's good to see our leaders valuing those connections. Defence cooperation will benefit both nations strategically.

Strategic partnerships like these are vital for regional stability. The UAE is a key player in the Middle East, and India's growing defence collaboration is a smart move. Hope this translates into concrete security benefits.

While defence agreements are welcome, I hope there's also focus on technology transfer and joint manufacturing. India needs to move beyond being just a buyer to a partner in defence production. Make in India needs to be part of such deals.

Good diplomatic move, but I'm more curious about the specifics. What exactly did we sign? MoUs are fine, but we need concrete action. Also, the mention of UP natural disaster condolences—hopefully relief reaches those affected quickly.
