Nice to see Laos appreciating India's assistance. But I hope we are also getting tangible benefits like market access for Indian businesses. These bilateral meets often sound good on paper but need real follow-through

India's Act East policy is clearly bearing fruit. Laos is strategically important given its location between China and Southeast Asia. Smart move by Jaishankar to host this meeting in Delhi

I appreciate the focus on capacity building and people-to-people ties. Laos is small but has rich culture. Would love to see more student exchanges and tourism between our countries. Namaste from India 🇮🇳🙏

Article sounds like typical diplomatic language. The real test will be how much trade actually increases. India always talks about ancient ties but we need modern economic partnerships. Hope Laos doesn't get too close to China at our expense

Heartening to see India's outreach to Southeast Asia. Laos is often overlooked but has beautiful temples and friendly people. This kind of diplomatic engagement builds lasting goodwill. Well done MEA!

Eight years since last JCM meeting is too long for a fast-changing world! We need annual or biannual reviews to truly build momentum. Better late than never though. Hope both sides follow up concretely on the promises made
