Seeing EU naval personnel in our Republic Day parade was a powerful symbol. It sends a clear message about shared security interests, especially in the Indian Ocean region. This partnership can be a stabilizing force.

Good move, but actions speak louder than words. We've had many "moments" with the EU before. The real test is whether they ease market access for our professionals and IT sector, and if we get better technology transfers. Let's see the fine print of the agreements.

As someone working in the trade sector, this is welcome news. A comprehensive trade deal with the EU would be a game-changer for Indian exports. The cybersecurity cooperation is also timely. A balanced partnership benefits both sides.

While the strategic partnership is important, I hope our government also ensures that any agreements protect our farmers and small businesses. We must not compromise on our interests for the sake of a deal. A respectful note of caution.
