While it's a significant milestone, the circumstances are deeply tragic. Losing Ajit Pawar sir was a huge shock. I hope this appointment is based on merit and capability to lead, not just political necessity. The state needs stable leadership.

Interesting to see the dynamics. Sharad Pawar not attending his own daughter-in-law's swearing-in speaks volumes about the family and party split. Politics can be so complex. Wishing her the best though.

'Ajit dada amar rahe' – that chant must have been so emotional. She has big shoes to fill, but her track record in the Rajya Sabha is impressive. Focus on women's upliftment is exactly what Maharashtra needs. Jai Maharashtra!

A powerful step for gender representation in Indian politics. Her background in environmental conservation is also crucial for a state facing climate challenges. Hope she brings that perspective to the deputy CM role.

The real test begins now. Being the first woman deputy CM comes with immense pressure and scrutiny. I respect her social work, but the administration of a complex state like Maharashtra is different. Let's hope for good governance, not just symbolism.
