Ravi Kishan as Aryabhatt? That's an interesting choice! He usually does character roles, but this could be a great opportunity. Himansh Kohli needs a good film after a while. Let's see if the story does justice to our great mathematician.
"Aryabhatt Ka Zero" - brilliant title! It connects the concept of zero, which Aryabhatta contributed to, with the idea of starting from nothing. Hopefully the movie inspires young Indians to take interest in mathematics and our scientific heritage. 🔢✨
I'm cautiously optimistic. Indian cinema rarely does justice to historical/scientific figures - either too preachy or too fictionalized. Hope this one strikes the right balance. Also, releasing in 2026 is quite far away. Why such a long gap from announcement to release?
Sonnalli Seygall is a talented actress, happy to see her getting more opportunities. The poster gives a rustic feel - maybe set in ancient Nalanda? I hope the VFX and production design are good because portraying 5th century India convincingly on screen is tough. 🙏
While I appreciate the concept, I wish they had chosen a director with more experience in period dramas. Kamal Chandra's previous work is mostly in small films. But every director has to start somewhere - let's give them a chance and hope for a quality film about our heritage.
