A water distribution station costing over 55 crores? That seems like a very high amount. While better water supply is needed, there must be transparency in these projects. How was this cost calculated? The public deserves to know.
As a resident of Karmachari Nagar mentioned in the article, our water pressure has been terrible for years. If this new station finally gives us 24x7 water, it will be a huge relief. Fingers crossed! 🤞
Foundation stones are laid with great fanfare, but the real work is in timely completion and quality. Hope this doesn't get stuck in delays and cost overruns like some other projects. The CM should personally monitor the progress.
It's good to see development reaching Ghatlodia. For a long time, the Gamtal area felt neglected compared to newer parts of Ahmedabad. One-stop government offices and better water infrastructure are basic needs that are finally being addressed.
Interesting to see the scale of urban planning in Indian cities. A 250 lakh litre capacity is massive. Efficient public utility management is key for any growing metropolis. Hope the project includes sustainable water sourcing.
