What a loss for the nation. Her voice was the background score to millions of Indian lives. From celebrations to heartbreaks, there was an Asha Bhosle song for every emotion. The state honours are well-deserved. A true Bharat Ratna in spirit.

While the tributes are beautiful, it's a bit sad that we celebrate our legends more in their passing. I wish we had more national events and documentaries celebrating her while she was still with us. Let's not wait to honour our living treasures.

The video of them dancing together is pure joy! It shows the beautiful synergy between the singer and the actor. That era of Hindi cinema had such grace and artistry. My Indian friends introduced me to her music, and even I, as a foreigner, can feel its power.

Eight decades of contribution! From my grandmother to my daughter, three generations in my home hum her songs. That's legacy. "Duniya Mein Logon Ko" still plays at every family function. The voice of India has fallen silent. Om Shanti.

Seeing the tricolour draped on her is so moving. She was a cultural ambassador who took Indian music to the world. Her cabaret numbers like "Piya Tu Ab To Aaja" had a boldness that was ahead of its time. A legend in every sense.
