Washington, August 4

Google has released the first official teaser for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, offering an early glimpse of its upcoming foldable smartphone ahead of its scheduled debut on August 12.

The short teaser video does not reveal many details about the device but showcases the Pixel 11 Pro Fold's silhouette along with a brief look at its inner display.

It also highlights the rear camera module, which appears to retain the same design seen on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

While the official teaser remains limited, previously leaked renders have already provided a clearer picture of what to expect from the next-generation foldable.

According to those leaks reported by GSM Arena, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to closely resemble its predecessor in terms of design.

The leaked information also suggests the device will feature an 8-inch inner display and could be powered by Google's Tensor G6 chipset. It is also expected to pack a 4,800mAh battery and introduce the new Pixel Glow LED integrated into the rear camera module.

In terms of colour options, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to be available in a new Pine finish alongside a black variant.

Google is set to officially unveil the Pixel 11 Pro Fold on August 12, when the company is expected to confirm the device's full specifications, features, pricing, and availability.

The leaked specs sound decent, but the battery seems small for a foldable. 4800mAh might not get you through a full day with heavy use. Hopefully Google has optimized the Tensor G6 well. Also, that 'Pixel Glow' LED is a unique touch—curious to see how it looks in person.

I've been waiting for this launch! The Pixel 10 Pro Fold was already great, and if this keeps the same design but adds the Tensor G6, it's a solid upgrade. Just hoping Google doesn't hike the price too much in India—we already pay a premium thanks to import duties. 🤞

The teaser looks sleek but it's basically the same design as the previous model. I hope the camera improvements are significant, especially since Samsung's foldables have been dominating that space. Also, the 'Pine' green color sounds nice—finally something different from black/white.

It's good to see Google pushing foldables forward, but I'm skeptical about the hinge durability. The Pixel Fold series has had issues in cold climates. Hope they've sorted that out for those of us in the West, but also heard reports from India about dust getting in—need better sealing.

August 12 can't come soon enough! But honestly, I'm still not sold on foldables. They feel too fragile for Indian conditions—dust, humidity, occasional drops. Just give us a Pro Max killer with amazing camera, Google. 📱
