"Land is being allotted to India Chip Private Limited, Ascent Circuit Private Limited, and Amber Enterprises India Limited for their new industrial units. Additionally, Bodhisattva Charitable Trust is being handed the land allocation letter for the establishment of a medical college. This is a golden time for investment in Uttar Pradesh," Adityanath said.

CM Yogi participated in the Direct Fund Transfer program under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 on Sunday.
During the programme, CM Yogi stated that more than 60 lakh beneficiaries have received benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state's rural and urban areas over the past 9 years.
"In the past nearly 9 years, we have provided the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to more than 60 lakh beneficiaries in the rural and urban areas of Uttar Pradesh, and today 2 lakh more people are being added to it. Now this number has reached 62 lakh... For the first time after independence, 62 lakh beneficiaries are receiving the benefit of housing facilities, and the credit for this goes to Prime Minister Modi's vision and leadership," said CM Yogi.
He further said that when a good government comes into power, people receive facilities with a positive approach.
"When a good government comes into power, people receive facilities with a positive approach. This is not just a house; it is also a feeling of complete self-reliance. We have been hearing since childhood that food, clothing, and shelter are basic necessities. PM Modiji has provided all three types of facilities," added CM Yogi.

A medical college by a charitable trust is a very welcome step. We need more quality healthcare infrastructure in the state. Hope it focuses on serving the local communities and not just becomes another expensive private institute.
Good to see focus on chip manufacturing with India Chip Pvt Ltd. Atmanirbhar Bharat needs this. But the proof will be in the execution. Hope these units actually get built and start production on time, unlike some past projects.
The housing scheme numbers are impressive, no doubt. 62 lakh homes is a big achievement. My own chacha got a house in Azamgarh. But alongside investment, we need to ensure basic amenities like water and electricity are stable in these new industrial areas.
As an NRI looking to invest, this is encouraging. UP's logistics are improving. The expressway connectivity is a big plus. Would like to see more details on the ease of doing business and single-window clearances promised.
All this is good, but what about the farmers whose land was acquired for these projects? Are they getting fair compensation and rehabilitation? Development should not come at the cost of displacing people without proper support. Just a thought.
